That’s really cool, and I love the story about the toy slide whistle! Maybe next time he will be playing some old school Nintendo, and you can pop some 8-bit sounds in one of your tracks

I was working on this track at my home studio and my son was in the room with me playing around with a slide whistle. BTW, if you have ever tried to compose or produce music while someone stands behind you playing random things on a slide whistle you know it is a great exercise in concentration!
Anyway, I was trying to block out what he was doing when he randomly happened to hit a few notes in the melody as I played the track. I turned around and said, “Hey, do you mind if I use that for a minute?” It was pretty tricky matching the pitches in the melody but not impossibly hard.
I love moments like that, where an option you weren’t planning on presents itself and you decide to just go with it and allow your project to have a new twist.

Well you know. this is what happened if you free your mind. let loose of the boundaries. just shows you. People can make great music with anything that Slap, Bangs, hums, hisses and even Slide.

Actually, the Zebra Points have no value at all. Just a fun points system I created for this guessing game. Hope that’s not too disappointing.
Maybe if I have more contests and someone accumulates 1,000 points I will send them a pack of gum or something similarly awesome!

Wonderful work! I was going to guess the Irish Tin Whistle or Pennywhistle at 1:38 but I think the bends sound too smooth for that. Great job!
