The song begins softly and reflectively with piano and a slightly dark lower percussive instrument. It builds towards the middle, with a couple of swelling choirs and strings, along with a brass section to add a little beefier treatment. Some electronic percussion mixed with world-beat percussion then comes in for a bit. A little bit of guitar helps warm the piece.
It then returns back to piano again to soften things down in the middle. Then the whole orchestra, along with the percussive elements all come in, united to create an atmosphere of powerful change. Then it all ends off with a softly played piano chord to end the musical’s compositional conversation.
