A repetitive minimalistic piece with off-beat, slightly dissonant piano chords over a guitar accompaniment. The piece builds up subtly with the introduction of vibraphone, guitar delay and light percussion.
The music is meant to convey a feeling of repetitive gloominess as though a person is stuck in a rut or a routine that they can’t escape.
