This song is our modern take of the go-go style that originated in Washington D.C. area in 1960´s to 1970´s. It is groovy and fat sounding yet very bright and lively which makes it great for lots of different contexts. In a way, the song is kind of static but at the same time has lots of melody events and interesting fills. This makes it ideal for DVD menus and other uses that need somewhat static background music that isn´t overly repetitive.
The three different versions provide great variety for your particular uses. In addition to the main version, there is an extended version that builds the groove up a while before the keyboard arrangement kicks up and the horn melodies make their entrance. The third version is the “background groove” version that excludes all melody elements and relies on the basic groove pattern of drums, bass and guitar. This third version can be used as a background track for voice-overs when you don´t want the melodies and fills to capture the listeners´ attention.
