A sad, bittersweet piano piece. Conveying the complex emotions of past memories, including nostalgia, regret, beauty, sweetness, happiness and longing. Think of a memory that used to be vivid, but as time goes by it fades more and more, until it seems almost like a dream. Did it really happen? This piece is perfect at capturing that mood of lost dreams, memories and bittersweet feelings. At the same time it is somewhat vague, so can be used in a positive light, or a negative (sad) light.
There are 3 versions total. One versions is very ambient and disjointed and is 2:56 in length. If we think of the distant memory, this version would be the best at almost conveying on a physical level, as the versions ends up sounding somewhat distant.
One version is just plain piano with subtle backwards and reverb effects—2:52 in length. The last version is similar to the plain piano version but has more accompanying backwards pianos, and is also 2:52.
