This strange, eerie cue is chalk full of sparse horror elements that will keep your listener on edge. Aleatoric percussion parts come and go to create a constant sense of unease, while creepy brass, piano, and synthesizer motifs bring sudden moments of disturbance.
The quirky, unusual nature of this piece makes it perfectly suited for a scary scene in animated programming or as underscore in a comedy/spoof horror. All that said though, “Beware” would work well in more serious media too!
The panning in this track is nice and wide. Not only does this enhance the overall scare factor, but having more space in the center of the mix allows for sound effects, dialogue, or other elements in your horror programming to shine through.
