This is Tchaikovsky’s Russian Dance (or Trepak) from the ballet The Nutcracker. This piece, like many others from the ballet, is commonly associated with Christmas and the winter season. Its upbeat, festive nature inspires both excitement and happiness.
This arrangement is mostly based on the original score by Tchaikovsky and features a full orchestra. I added a glockenspiel part to the melody line towards the end of the piece, which is not included in the original score.
