Synthwave is in! The rush of retro 80’s sounds overtop electronic beats, big sweeping epic pads overtop screaming synths, it was a great time for electronic music. Shows like Stranger Things and Thor Ragnarok have really pushed the synthwave movement to the forefront, however Taylor Swift may have preceded almost everybody with her album 1989 with synthwave influences.
