The sound of Ethnic Percussion (aka Shaker) – Rainstick – or the staff of rain, palo de agua. It is a traditional musical ritual instrument made of a hollow tube-stem with dry seeds inside, used by the peoples of South America to summon rain. It is also used for relaxation practices and meditations, in new age and ambient music.
