Given the hardware limitations, the music of early to mid 90s RPGs didn’t have massive production value. No high fidelity strings, no earth shaking timpani or soaring guitar solos. Paired with the same graphical limitations of our consoles back then – it sounded just right. Although these limitation didn’t hamper how much connection we had with these games. This was our Saturday night jam, figuring out puzzles, discovering treasures, accumulating more XP to up our HP and MP for us to kill the dungeon boss.

Modern RPG Music is our interpretation of the music that we grew up that didn’t come from a band. With modern production elements, this track will inspire nostalgia but will not sound dated, with fresh beats and vocal chops.
