The sound of Rainstick – or the staff of rain, palo de agua. It is a traditional musical instrument made of a hollow tube-stem with dry seeds inside, used by the peoples of South America to summon rain. It is also used for relaxation practices and meditations, in new age and ambient music.
This is a 1.5 meter long Raintick sound that slowly rotates around its own axis. The sound seems to flow from the left channel to the right channel, and then merges into a powerful rumble of rolling, rustling seeds.
