Paper Shredder interesting facts

This device was invented in 1909 but until the mid. 1980s was mainly used for government documents and not by private companies or other entities. The mechanical device can have a built-in wastebasket and can be of various types (strip-cut, cross-cut, particle-cut, cardboard, disintegrators, hammermills, Pierce-and-tear, grinders).

The one I’ve recorded is a Strip-cut shredder that cuts paper with rotating knives at the same length of the paper sheet.
