Creeping Omen is part of my Cinematic Dark Tension Trailer set. It is a mid-tempo hybrid of electronic bass pulses, classical orchestral elements and war drums. It has 120 BPM and is written in D-minor. It starts off quite but tense with a brooding march, smoldering to the first button ending. It continues its march with an eery atmosphere, steadily building tension. Second button ending. Now the music starts pushing, choir, braams, pulsing bass, the dread intensifies, the thread is real. Third button ending. The final segment pushes through even more intense bass pulses and drums bringing all home to a final stinger ending.

This track could be used for an opening scene or a trailer where a thread is introduced or approaching, i.e. in Horror, Sci-Fi or any dystopian settings. It could also be the other side where someone is preparing a strike. It pushes uncomfort, uneasiness and uncertainty and builds tension. It tackles its way up to a finale where someone might just have escaped – for now.
