Hi, my video is restricted on several platforms from Facebook to TikTok. On YouTube and Facebook it was easy to appeal and there were form to submit license information coming with purchase. On TikTok we had to replace audio of the video. Why I am facing this if I am paying for the music? Or why I am paying for this music if I will face restrictions on platforms when I use it on my videos? What am I doing wrong?
BTW, on Instagram still straggling to bring my video back online. Filed appeal several times via different forms. Still no resolution.
Hello. Sorry that you have to face these issues. Qs far as I know, it supposes to be easy to remove claim with providing license you’ve purchased. From who you have claim in TikTok and Instagram? Who is copyright owner in claim?
I found that my track was uploaded to Content ID from another account. Now I send email to TuneCore to fix this issue. Someone stole my music and claim as his own.
Sorry to hear that. I hope you will get your rights back. On Meta platform the owner is shown as “Son Shine” and the Track as “Halo”
I tried to upload video with track “Business Idea” to facebook, instagram, tiktok and youtube and only tiktok has blocked the video. Instagram and YouTube do not recognize any copyright issues. Facebook showed the notice that audio was muted but I immidiately open a dispute and removed claim saying that I am the owner (you can do this with providing license). On TikTok the track called “Gabriella Loves Fishing, Family, and Ironton, Ohio” and the “owner” is Composer Lyricist: C.Allocco Songwriter: C.Allocco. Hi just added vocals on this track and distributed it with TuneCore as his own track.
