Step into your Delorean, configure the flux capacitor and drive straight to the 80s with this upbeat synthwave track. If you don’t have a Delorian, a Knight Rider KITT will do fine too.
This track was inspired by the eighties of course, in particular by sound tracks by Anders Enger Jensen (for the 8-Bit Guy), Mitch Murder, The Midnight, FM-84, Timecop1983, Carpenter Brut, Gunship, but also oldies such as Harold Faltermeyer, A-ha, Jan Hammer and Paul Hardcastle.
Instruments used: Yamaha RX-5, LinnDrum LM1, Roland Juno 60, Roland JX-8P, Oberheim OB-X and of course the Yamaha DX7 using the famous 15 BASS 1 patch, as heard on countless hits such as Take On Me, What’s Love Got to Do With It and many more. Chiptune lovers might recognise the sound as it’s often sampled on Amiga sound modules as well as used in many FM soundcards.
