
Simon Stevens
An active Composer and Orchestrator, Simon is carving out a career in the world of music for Film and Television. Recent projects include scoring the Documentary ‘The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin’ and the Thriller ‘Sofia’ starring Christian Slater, Donald Sutherland and Timothy Spall.
Simon has also worked as an Orchestrator notably on the Bollywood hits ‘Barfi’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and as an assistant to Composer Maurizio Malagnini for his award winning score to the BBC Series ‘The Paradise’.
Simon studied Composition at the Royal College of Music London, where his teachers included Howard Davidson and Ken Hesketh. After graduating from the RCM, Simon was accepted onto the Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television course at the University of Southern California where he received tuition from composers Bruce Broughton, Christopher Young and Jack Smalley. Simon was also selected to be mentored by Oscar nominated composer James Newton Howard.
