Robert has been in the music business for no less than 20 years, starting his early career in a local village brass band. Falling in love with music and the Bb cornet, Robert worked his way from 3rd cornet to Solo cornet by the time he was 15.
After a brief spell in the army, where he played the bugle in the regimental band, he learned to play the drums, and formed a band with his friends named “Nebraska Day” The band split after 3 years and Robert joined another band called “Livingston” who released 2 Cd’s with moderate success, and played some of the most famous venues for bands in the UK, including “The Boardwalk” In Manchester, famous for being the venue Oasis played, and “The Vic” in Derby.
His friend and mentor Nick Hollis built a large studio in the wilds of Derbyshire and from there Robert learned the tricks and skills need to become a full time producer, and writer of music.
He now works alongside his life partner Helen, who herself comes from a musical background, and has a lifelong ambition to learn and play the violin.
