Great mxing! Well done

Hi Team,

I am creating Youtube videos (Free Tutorials). I just want to check the below pre sales questions:

1. Can I use this as backgroudn music fro my youtube videos 2. If Yes! In how many videos I am allowed, is there any limit in numbers or time. 3. Which licence I should buy.

TIA. PNRao!

Hi there,

the ‘Music Standard License’ covers the use on Youtube. Normally, each license is for one end-product. That means you may need one license for each video. If you buy a Music Standard License for one video, then there’s no time-limit for that license.

https://audiojungle.net/licenses/terms/music_standard

The only exception – and this might fit your case – is if you’re producing a series – or what Envato defines as a series:

https://audiojungle.net/licenses/faq#what-constitutes-series-a

To quote from the FAQ article above:

Quote:

“To be considered a series, all things in the series (eg episode, edition) must be connected, and be released within 1 year of the first installment. There is also a maximum of 52 episodes or editions within the series.”

“Example: A 12 episode TV series that starts in December and ends in July would only require a single license. A YouTube series that releases an episode every week (52 total) would only need to purchase a license once every year. A magazine that releases an edition every other month would need to purchase a license once every year.”

End of Quote

That means: If the tutorial videos you’re producing can be considered to be a series, you only need one ‘Music Standard License’ every 12 months or every 52 episodes.

If you’re unsure wether your videos can be considered a series, you could still open a support ticket with Envato support. In the end it’s Envato as a company who define the license structures and rules. As an author I can only try my best to help interpret those rules.

I hope I could help. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do.

Best regards!

Congratulations!
