Theme for the Lost and Fallen

At the time of writing we live in worrying and confusing times. Intended as a memorial piece for war films, even ideal for reflective christmas pieces, I find music can uplift us. This piece was inspired by the brass and wind band writing of Eric Whitacre and film composer John Williams, with a full live and hybrid orchestra setup written on Cubase PRO.

Recorded using the Vienna Symphonic Library MIR PRO process to give precise positioning for the instruments of the orchestra and EQing so the mix sits well. Recorded in the Sage Hall 1 Gateshead theatre (theater U.S. ) environment.

Perfect for news intros, award ceremonies, movie trailers, podcasts, vlogs; you name it.

Great for adding some orchestral atmosphere to your work. Orchestrated with full orchestra of strings, woodwind, brass and percussion, with some atmospheric underscore 8Di0 Liberis, Sonokinetic Tutti Vox and Vienna Choir. Dimension Brass (VSL) and Cinesamples Sonore are the standout instruments here.

The work was orchestrated from the ground up using Cubase Pro 10.5, ProTools HD, Vienna Symphonic Library MIR PRO, Cinesamples, Sonokinetic, EastWest and more to give you a premium cinematic sound experience, mastered in ultra high definition throughout the sound chain.
