This high-pitched sound reminds me of a sparkles or some strange mutant insects. It’s useful as a new message ringtone (for quick, short messages like SMS, e-mail, chat message, Twitter tweet, new RSS feed, etc). It can also be used as an in-game sound effect when item is collected, or task completed… Or wherever you imagine it
