At the bottom of a dark, deep, scottish loch something evil stirs. England’s greatest detective Mr. Sherlock Holmes has been called to investigate. Through the mist of the haunted forest he creeps ever closer to his destination and potential doom. Little does he know of the fate that awaits him, for the undead remains of the dreaded count Dracula lie under the cold, still water. Returning to life after hundreds of years, through satanic ritual and blood sacrifice, the great Vampire is reborn and returns to menace and corrupt Victorian England with his curse.
This is a classic british, gothic horror theme. In the style of the old Hammer, Amicus and Tigon productions of the late 60’s and the 70’s. It is in three parts. The first slower build up section lead by piano supported by ghost like choir leads to a dramatic and powerful middle section before a dream like ending slows the piece down to finish.
This is an epic, cinematic piece of magical, fantasy orchestral music to take you on an emotional journey of discovery and heroic adventure. Great for use at halloween as a theme involving haunted houses and spooky, creepy things that go bump in the night.
