Mussorgsky Cattle

Mussorgsky Cattle

Music Description

Pictures at an Exhibition (Pictures from an Exhibition – A Remembrance of Viktor Hartmann; French: Tableaux d’une exposition) is a suite in ten movements (plus a recurring, varied Promenade) composed for piano by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky in 1874.

“The Cattle” begins with low sounds in the piano, which give the music a stagnant feel – like grazing cattle. The music is great for nature videos, time lapse movies, and abstract films.
