Music box version of the Neapolitan song Torna a Surriento composed in 1902 by Italian musician Ernesto De Curtis. The sounds including the initial winding sound FX were derived from a 1950s swiss music box mechanism that was manufactured in Paris. The tune has a simple, lilting quality with with a charming mechanistic, toylike rhythm. Would be equally suitable for gentle visuals, spooky or child-like atmospheres.
Two versions are included, a full length version (WAV and MP3) and a shorter, looped version (WAV only).
