An orchestral version of Jean-Joseph Mouret’s popular and famous Fanfare-Rondeau, from his first Suite of Symphonies.
This arrangement is for a full orchestra playing the main theme with emphasis on trumpets and the brass section. First chairs play the interludes.
The fanfare is used to signify the arrival or entrance of a noble person or royal and has a stately, bold and regal tone. It is a popular piece, used in many famous TV shows and is also popular at weddings.
