Last Cowboy of the New Frontier

Last Cowboy of the New Frontier

A true and faithful recreation of the classic Cowboy/Western genre to give your project a true cinematic experience. Ever faithful to the likes of Ennio Morricone – A Fistful of Dollars and the Spaghetti Western genre.

To add realism and cinematic verity, every effort has been made to preserve the Full Dynamic Range. A film should have quiet slow moving passages, and loud action-packed scenes. It should convey a wide range of emotions and textual colours. The same is true with this composition. You can really hear the quietest of passages to the loudest deafening horn blasts in the climactic finale. The real benefits of a rich, full audio dynamic range gives real expression and dynamism – you can really hear the sweeping brash ‘raspiness’ with the trumpets . Timpani’s are perceptible from the lightest touch, to the loudest pounding bangs, and you can hear and almost ‘feel’ the air as it blows through the Peruvian pan flutes.

Intelligent use of space, reverb and audio sparsity compliments the visual vastness of the desolated American high plains. Individually played round-robin marching drums serve as the rhythmic heartbeat, highlighting the Hero galloping through the American outback at lightning speed. Our hero is also identified by the pan flute trill ‘motif’ prevalent in the composition – a feature you can use in your project.

Nothing has been left unturned in the creation of this composition in an effort to give you a true sonic realism distinctly opposed to the typical computerised/quantised MIDI sound afflicting other stock audio files.

Recorded in pristine 24 bit/ 96khz for Full Dynamic Range and Headroom, printed out as:
- 16 bit, 44.1khz digital audio .wav file
- 320k bit rate .mp3.mp3 at 320k bit rate
