Hello, welcome to this music pack of Jazz and Blues!
Cool Blue Note Jazz This is a sassy, cool, short piece of jazz for your projects. Featuring a trio of piano, bass and kit and taking influence from a host of blue note, swing and bop movers and shakers…including some of my favourites, including, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie. With a smooth groove and feel reminiscent of the Dave Brubeck Quartet and influenced by the stylish soundtrack work of the great, legendary, Lalo Schifrin. This track is perfect for many uses, especially those late night, mean city street scenes in say, New York or San Francisco. The track would also be good for capturing the sound of a hip, 60’s jazz radio station broadcast. The piece works well repeated after the stop ending for use in a longer project. Files included: Main piece 1:22 (95 bpm in a 6/8 signature)
Short Dirty Blues I got the blues baby! This is a nice simple, short lazy blues guitar track. Played with a sweet, laid back deep south style, this 12 bar blues is ideal for background radio and television work. Picture the old dude on his porch, laying down his sorrows with a bottle of whiskey, telling the story of his rich life…or maybe a scene featuring a young buck starting out on his journey down the road to becoming a guitar hero. Intentionally uncluttered and without any blistering theatrics to spoil the vibe. Down and dirty, on solo electric guitar with a loose, free and easy, cool sound. Great as an introduction track for video clips and channels. Track length: 1:00 BPM 120
Cool Jazz Blues Piano Imagine the tumbleweed rolling by as you listen to this 60’s influenced blue note jazz piano take on western themes. A nice rolling piano part leads this lazy trio. A hint of my hero Oscar Peterson in this one. Enjoy! This could be suitable for games, adverts, radio and a variety of other uses. Files included: Main file (with proper ending not fade) 3:08 Loop 1:01. BPM 94
Wah Wah Blues This is a fun jazzy blues shuffle. It was written with children’s uses in mind but could quite happily be used for many different things. I dug into my influences a bit with hints of Oscar Peterson and Donald Fagen. Ideal for cartoons, games, advertising, radio, TV and the web. It is essentially a swinging jazz twelve bar with some interesting twists and turns and harmonic development. The piece plays out the melody on a quacking wah-wah funky clavinet and has solo sections on piano and organ. I played all the keys real time with no quantisation to make sure the tune had a loose, cool, natural vibe to it. Files included: Length 2:24 BPM 120
Vibraphone Jazz This piece is a jazzy 6/8 swinging, waltzing and smooth jazz piece featuring vibraphone. Ideal for animation, advertising clips, intros, cartoons, children’s entertainment or educational programming. Length 2:00. BPM 135
Introducing the Show Come on down! The price is right! This is a jazzy, big, show stopper played by the terrific late night house band. Quiz shows, talk shows…ideal for when tonight’s special guest star is making their way on to the stage or introducing the next contestant. Lights, cameras, action! If you need a big repeating bluesy jazz fanfare then this might be just what you are after. Files included: Main piece (new mix) 2:13 Main piece (original mix). I have remastered this piece with a cut to the mid frequencies to help for voiceover work. The original version is still included and is 2nd in the preview. BPM 130
