Now includes the vintage 78 rpm record gramophone-style mix!
Looking for something with a bit of joie de vivre? You only need to hear the first few notes of this tune and the scene is set… Paris in the summer… The elegance and style of the early 1940s… A glass of Bordeaux in a Montmartre cafe… A bit of lighthearted comedy… A new romance maybe…
This playful and optimistic tune is written in the style of the great guitarist Django Reinhardt. You may have heard his music in the Woody Allen film “Sweet And Low Down”. Featuring a typical gypsy jazz line-up of three manouche guitars, double bass and fiddle, this track will really bring your project to life. With a particularly jazzy and uplifting chord sequence, the composition stands out by employing multiple modulations between keys.
If you’re looking for a more vintage feel for your project then look no further than the 78” record mix. This version mimicks the sound of the song played as a 78” record on a gramophone: the sound is a little muffled, distorted and crackly and perfectly conjures up a bygone era.
There is also a loop version so you can extend the song for as long as you like, as well as a short ‘stinger’ version.
The track comes in four different versions:
- HAPPY GYPSY JAZZ VIOLIN – NORMAL MIX [2:32]
- HAPPY GYPSY JAZZ VIOLIN – 78 MIX [2:38]
- HAPPY GYPSY JAZZ VIOLIN – LOOP [0:39]
- HAPPY GYPSY JAZZ VIOLIN – STINGER [0:11]
All versions are included as both WAV and high quality MP3 files.
