Underscore music for the forlorn. I wrote this with cinema in mind for poignant moments of heartbreak, loss, or just plain sadness. It will go well with any video, film, or cinema project that needs to project a feeling of depression, hurt, or emotional distress in a short amount of time.
The download includes MP3 and WAV versions of two files: A shorter version (0:52) that doesn’t resolve, and a longer (1:44) version that does resolve for a total of 4 files. The demo is for the longer version, the short one stops about halfway through, but without the linking pad sound.
Both versions can stand alone, but I envisioned using one during a forlorn moment and following with the 2nd version later when the sad person is now “sadder but wiser”.
The BPM listed is only a rough estimate. I actually recorded at 120 BPM, but left the metronome off. It’s very rubato. This one’s more about mood and atmosphere than beat.
