‘The Final Countdown’ is an epic hybrid trailer cue that builds up slowly to a huge climax. The beginning is meant to evoke a feeling of sombre reality of what is about to happen (everything going all wrong). The introduction gradually builds up with heavy drums and percussion until the break with choir and high strings.

The 2nd section comes roaring in with almost alien-like huge epic horn blasts, and a percussion/drum section that builds and builds to the climax. A huge pitch bend in distorted synth/guitar helps punctuate the end of this section before the piece calms down for a final statement of the theme.

This hybrid epic trailer-style track would be excellent for movie trailers, films, video games, YouTube projects, shorts, and feature films
