A cool cabaret vibe, with some seriously good tenor sax playing by Barry Snyman who is based in Jo’burg. The intention is clear from the first; a strong melody kicks off the piece. A relaxed half-time feel bridge follows, then the tempo picks up again with some inspired riff work. After a further bridge section the piece closes with a reflective tail piece over a distant percussion loop. The backing is drums, bass, and rhodes piano vamp chords with pad accompaniment. A good time piece; setting the mood for a retro mood hen or stag night maybe! Please rate?
