Lullaby (Wiegenlied: Guten Abend, gute Nacht), Op. 49, No. 4 is a soothing lullaby, or cradle song written by famous German composer Johannes Brahms. It is widely known as Brahms’ Lullaby. Its melody is one of the most famous and recognizable in the world. Countless parents use it to sing their babies to sleep. Brahms dedicated this lullaby to his friend Bertha Faber, on the occasion of the birth of her second son.
I have recorded this beautiful piece on a Steinway piano with a calm tempo to reflect its lullaby style. It is ideal for any projects needing a soothing music including baby projects, baby videos, or children related animations, films and movies.
