This is a 4 track pack, containing music suitable for Asian related projects. You have different moods here, but all tracks have an easy to recognize Asian and oriental sound. Between these 4 tracks, you have everything from the exotic mystery of Buddhist temples to the mesmerizing natural beauty of a continent that still holds numerous enigmas. There’s also a sentimental track, inspired by the fascinating world of geishas.
Have a look at the tracklist:
This is a dark and yet dynamic track, with an electro Asian feel, which makes it useful for science fiction stuff, too. Plenty of mystery here, as suggested by the title. This is perfect for scoring visuals of a journey through Japan or China, or some busy, crowded city, like Tokyo or Shanghai. Also suitable for any project that needs an oriental score.
2. Farewell, Geisha 2:14
A gentle tune played on shakuhachi, with a subtle pad and taiko drum punctuation. It combines feelings of sadness with an Asian feel. It would work for subjects related to a geisha parting ways, filled with sadness, with her secret love. Melancholy and tradition come together in a track about culture clash and forbidden love, between kimono and… maybe jeans. Also suitable for projects about Chinese or Vietnam or Korean culture.
3. Samurai In Training 2:45
A track filled with traditional Asian sounds of koto, shamisen, flutes, combined with pads and choirs. I imagine it as a good soundtrack for a scene of someone training in martial arts, doing something careful and slow. You can see samurais training and attacking in sync, some old kung fu master making a new sword or exercising some Taekwondo moves, as well as modern Yakuza hitmen or ninjas on a dangerous mission.
4. Healing 2:20
Ambient piece, very subtle, perfect for voice-overs. It loops and it’s very soothing. This is more suitable for yoga meditation, buddhist prayers or visuals of the mesmerizing natural beauties of Asia. It’s all about a journey into one’s self here, finding the inner light and power to heal yourself through your mind.
