Are You Sleeping Brother John

Are You Sleeping Brother John

This is my instrumental version of “Are you sleeping Brother John”, a popular nursery French song, famous all over the world in different versions: French: “Frère Jacques”; Dutch: “Vader Jacob” (Netherlands) or “Broeder Jacob” (Flanders), German: “Bruder Jakob”, Italian: “Fra’ Martino”, Polish: “Panie Janie”, Danish: “Mester Jakob”), etc. etc. The song suggesting a baby sleeping in the crib scenario and mimics a music box and towards the end slows down as if the mechanism is to be rewound. For more versatility use I’ve added four versions: 01: Music Box versions (0:40) 02: Organ Bells versions (0:40) 03: Celesta versions (0:40) 04: Glockenspiel version (0:40)
