I’m not sure did anyone receive similar email from Payoneer with following text:
Activate your Payoneer Prepaid debit MasterCard®.
We would like to make sure you are the owner of the card, and have all the information you need to activate it.
You can start loading money onto the card and begin using it to shop in stores, online or draw cash from ATM’s after activated
To activate your account Here
It looks like regular email but link ends with .MX
P.S. Nissim if you read this please let us know what’s this all about? I am Payoneer user last 2-3 years and my Card is active.
Thanks very much for bringing this to my attention. This is certainly not an official Payoneer e-mail, and the link included in the mail is not a Payoneer domain.
This is a phishing attempt, and I have already forwarded it on to our risk team. We will follow up with relevant anti-phishing authorities and fraud watch to make sure it’s reported and the site is taken down asap.
If you ever come across similar e-mails or phishing attempts, please continue to report them. Even if you aren’t sure, it’s better safe than sorry. We also have a post on our blog with tips on how to identify and prevent phishing/identity theft: http://blog.payoneer.com/how-to-prevent-phishing-and-identity-theft/
