I just wanted to write a quick introductory post here. It’s a bit late I know – I joined Audiojungle 2 months ago and uploaded my first five tracks. No sales yet, but I know I’ll have to keep a slow, steady stream of submissions coming in to see any results (and improve my tracks/writing). I’m really impressed by how helpful and friendly the Audiojungle author community is here on the forum. There’s no shortage of authors willing to provide constructive feedback and useful advice, which is unlike many of the other forums on the internet.
A bit about me: I’ve been playing music as a hobby for about 21 years now, mainly as a guitarist but 16 years ago I discovered synths/samplers and computer music and that’s been my passion ever since. I started out playing guitar and bass in metal and rock bands but these days I work solo in my home studio producing tracks with laptop and my VST plugins. I enjoy writing in many different styles of music, which Audiojungle is the perfect outlet for. Anyways, I write music as a hobby for the love of it, but thought it might be nice to make some extra income from it!
Oh, and by the way I haven’t submitted any new tracks for the last couple of months because I got sidetracked working on a free drum synth VST plugin that some of you electronic music authors may find useful, which I will post here:http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/freebies-best-free-vst-effects/15145?page=17
Hope you enjoy it
Hello and welcome!
Hi Justin and welcome.
It’s so easy to get distracted with all these freebie VSTs isn’t it? A lot of them are excellent though and if you can make use of them and /or if they inspire you to compose then all the time spent experimenting with them is worthwhile. I’ve used quite a few freebie VSTs recently…e.g. Crystal in which I found a nice delay effect to use in my most recent piece.
Welcome Justin! Have fun and good luck!!
Welcome and I wish you much success!
Welcome to the Jungle. Sit down, relax and enjoy:D
