InlifeThrill saidOr if you’re dead set on making your life difficult, you could transfer it to Beta SP tape and mail it to Envato HQ.
Hey MRMdesigns, why would you even try to upload F4V when the upload instructions are quite clear about it? Previews should be in flv. Why bother experimenting with this, it’s wasting your time
Axaxa, I’d like to see the expression on Envato’s guy face who would get that tape
f4v was allowed long ago… But now it’s only flv. http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/330/59/videohive-general-file-preparation-guidelines
Link from this very old post redirect to support.envato.com
In this page you’ll find every wiki article, that belongs to Videohive http://wiki.envato.com/tag/videohive-basics/ for preview videos it’s flv or f4v and it has to be either 960×540 or 640×360
baf2681 saidno way… F4V is accepted. I wish it wouldn’t say FLV video when you submit things. Should be FLV or F4V
Let me double check but i’m pretty sure the Envato video player will accept several formats. I could be wrong but i will look into it. I know FLV or F4V for sure.
That’s why I tried uploading F4V And it’s not that old… just 1 year ago
I WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE!! This performance issue is a real bummer because time is money, and I am always taking time to look for good material on Video Hive and all of the Envanto sites. It’s been so bad that I even Googled the problem and came across this forum.
