WOW , have people been uploading much more files recently or is the whole AJ crew watching Soccer ?
Yep … its getting crowdy – actually to crowdy. I do know AJ is a great place but I’m not finding time to you know … stay competetive with whole world – time to look for some smaller places but not that packed.
i guess the more people the more better, the market place is growing. hence more customers
A few more on the reviewing team, methinks?
Don’t worry guys, everything gets looked at. Personally, I would like to say this to all authors: We can all make the odd mistake in the upload process, but if you want to help us reviewers work that little bit faster please double check that you are following the upload instructions and submitting everything correctly. It can be quite time consuming having to correct titles, descriptions, grammar, punctuation, tags or having to write custom rejection notes when an author has made multiple mistakes with the submission. Sometimes an author will upload a large amount of files at once, each with the same small mistake, but which has to be corrected. On the plus side, there are also many authors who consistently submit everything perfectly.
Hey guys, we invariably go through peaks and troughs throughout the year based on author activity and reviewer availability (we are human too and have families and vacations just like you).
We’ve always maintained that we will review all files within 7 days (this message appears when you upload an item) and I don’t think we’ve ever exceeded this time. In fact, the AudioJungle reviewers do such a good job they’ve probably been spoiling you with how quickly they’ve processed your files.
So rest assured, please allow up to 7 days for your items to get reviewed. Most of you know that we typically review files well within 7 days, normally no longer than 3-4 days in fact. Compare this against some of our competitors and we really are spoiling you, but hey, you guys deserve it with all that magnificent audio you create and upload.
If/when we decide to expand the review team in order to meet the quantity of files being uploaded to AudioJungle, we will of course make an announcement to keep you in the loop.
In the meantime, Andy is exactly right – please make sure you have a thorough read of our upload instructions whether you are a new author or an existing author – we still see the same mistakes over and over from a lot of authors new and old. The time we can save not having to review + reject files all the time will be of benefit to not only us, but for you guys too.
