Confirming that the collection feature is working. Thanks a lot to the developers for fixing this important feature.
Create a collection and play that
That’s what I just did. I created a collection of all my tracks and made it public. I’m using the collection ID 567678 and all my other desired settings in the code builder.
For some weird reason I’m not even getting a preview. The minute I change the music source field to files from user I do get a preview.
Is it possible that there’s a lag time involved until newly created collections do get picked up by the system and therefore there’s no output generated (yet)?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Just put the player on my blog. Extremely easy to configure and looks really nice. Awesome job.
A quick question: What would be the best way to consolidate both my exclusive as well as non-exclusive tracks into a single player instance? Creating and “triggering” a collection of all my tracks?
do you guys send a received email just to make sure the application actually made it in? would be silly to miss the chance due to email error lol
Scott, maybe you could send out a really short “your application received” e-mail just to ease our anxious minds and/or to give us a chance to resubmit our application before the deadline.
I really appreciate you taking the time to provide such a detailed (euphemism for EPIC ) response.
ma9sharp11’s (henceforth to be referred to as “Chord” )
Lol, it’s so great to be in a community, where you don’t have to explain your username all the time.
Here’s another suggestion:
How about a track limit? Only 2 or 3 tracks per producer are simultaneously displayed on the wall.
In case somebody submits more tracks those get put into rotation and this way a bigger variety of producers gets featured on the homepage.
I want to second that.
All the feedback I’ve received from the reviewers so far has been relevant to the track. I appreciate that you guys really listen to the music sent in – and take the extra effort to provide individual feedback.
I find that really motivating, so a big thanks from me as well.
In a previous thread I’ve got the green light from Joel that Envato is cool with creating a second account for an exclusive vs. non exclusive set-up.
