For all you synthheads,
Moog Music has introduced a new polyphonic ‘professional synth’ for iPad (according to them, it’s the first one worthy of that title) called Animoog.http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2011/10/16/moog-animoog/ (story and demos)
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/animoog/id471638724?mt=8# (iTunes link)
Introductory price is only $.99 (reg. $29.99) for the first 30 days.
Looks pretty incredible, and that’s a great price.
To any of you following this thread who might have been sitting on the fence with purchasing one of the Soundiron pianos, for the next 7 days 10/10-10/17, they are all 30% off. Actually, all of the keyboards are, including organs, etc.http://www.soundiron.com/instruments/pianos/ http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=734249b64df7127df21149a84&id=ae54454ae5 (this is an email order form with all prices, add to cart buttons, etc.)
Some great pianos for really great prices (I mean Montclarion is only $55!!).
Maybe this one:http://audiojungle.net/item/sheltering-skies/476134
For any of you AudioJungle authors that use guitar samples to write tracks, you might find this article I stumbled across helpful.http://indiginus.com/files/GuitarChordVoicings.pdf
Basically, it takes common guitar chords/voicings, and shows you the keyboard equivalent – the purpose being to make your parts more believable by playing it the way a guitarist might.
Hope this is helpful to someone!
Huge congratulations, Tim! You deserve it!
