Is this available without the background score, just the vocals?

Just the vocals? No, I’m sorry that’s not available. Thanks!

Thanks very much :)

Hope it will be some day :) Thanks for the compliment!

Great great song very simple and powerful WOW !!! can I get the instrumental version please

Really great song Tim, very inspirational. Very genuine and easily relate-able, I love it. I will definitely be using it in one of my future videos.

Keep up the great work :)

I’m a service member in the US air force and music is really the biggest thing that helps me get through the challeges that come with this job.ive always been a big fan of uncoming artists and supporting them so when I first heard your music it was this song. its honestly one of the best songs ive heard in a long time, i love it.and i have no idea why its not your most popular song.i like almost all of your music and the only other song that i would say is as good as this one is “hurting land”. it would be nice to see this go on itunes sometime soon, i would buy it in a heartbeat and i actually only joined audiojungle looking for a place to buy this track.i love what your doing tim, i love your music, and i hope you make it as an artist.i really do.

Thanks so much for talking the time to share your thoughts with me (and signing up on AJ just to do so!) I appreciate it a lot. It will make it’s way to itunes eventually, I just don’t know when exactly.

I’m not American, but thank you as well for your service to your country – I am always very appreciative of the sacrifices men and women in the military make so that the rest can live in peace and freedom. Thanks for your continued support!

Howdy Mr. McMorris,

I just wanted to tell you how much this song has helped and given me a sense of peace, that it made me feel good and has helped me accept a truth that others have seen and tried to convince me of… that I have for a very long time tried to fight… and not accept when it concerns me.

I never saw myself as a hero, even though as a kid I had dreamed of being one… Captain America to be exact, he was the first super-hero that inspired me, and the works of Stan Lee that had inspired me to be greater than I thought I could be.

And during the question and answer session being held by the Convention staff during Heroes Con 2012 here in Charlotte, NC… I told Stan Lee that he was one of the Three People in my life that had inspired me to push myself further than I thought possible, he asked me who the other two were… and I told him my father and grandfather, my grandfather who fought at D-Day… my father who fought in Vietnam… and I myself who fought in Desert Storm. To which he said, “Well, I really am in very good company then.”

When I was in the service I found myself in positions that I had to take lives and save lives, and yes… I am more proud of those lives I have saved.

And I believe that anyone else who had been in my position would have done the same things I have done, that my actions are not all that special for that very reason. I have adapted and overcome many obstacles in my life… be it proving that I could relearn to walk after my legs had been cut off and bolted back on, or not allowing my so-called wife’s betrayal and keeping me from seeing or even talking to my sons destroy me, or giving someone a place to live when I discovered that they were homeless.

I got to personally meet with Stan ‘the man’ Lee, because I had just arrived at one of the parking lots on Friday Morning… and there was a truck that pulled in after us. The driver was upset that he didn’t have the change for a twenty so that he could pay for parking the truck holding all of their products that they were to be selling in the dealer’s room. And I told him not to worry about it… that I had him covered, and I paid for his parking. And he walked with us to the Convention Centre where I was going to pay for tickets for the Comic Convention for my youngest sister and myself. And I mentioned that I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to buy the special tickets to get to meet Stan Lee in person. And he just smiled at me and said, “Don’t worry about it…. I have you covered” as he opened up his shirt to show off his tee-shirt that said “Stan Lee Collectibles”… and told us that he worked for Stan Lee. And he’d get us in to spend some time with Stan Lee.

And he did, we got to spend ten minutes with Stan Lee where we got to talk and get to know each other. The first thing he said when he walked up to me was, “When I was told what you had done for us, it made me proud to know that there are still good people like you in the world.” They told me that they all had been talking about what I had done on that Friday Morning, that act of kindness that had never been done for them before.

As he looked through my art portfolio and really loved my signature superhero character (American Patriot)… we were talking and I had told him about the things I’ve been through, and how my friends keep calling me a hero…. and how much that it disturbed and hurt me. That heroes are not disposable, expendable or thrown away, that my personal history has shown me to be all three of those things. That only my God, my beloved Republic and my sons have not done that to me. I told him that he knew heroes when he saw them, and I asked him if he could finally put it at rest… that he could say that I wasn’t a hero.

But instead he looked at me and said that many people saw him as their hero, and that he really didn’t feel worthy of such praise. That in his long life he had learned one thing… “If someone thinks that you are a hero, then you ARE a Hero!” which caused me to start to cry. And he took the picture of American Patriot that he really liked and that I was giving him, instead he took out a black sharpie and signed it before he told me, “Now you can sell this for a lot of money.” To which I said that I would never get rid of it… and he got this mischievous smile and said, “Your name is Richard right… that is the name that you go by.”

And when I said it was, he personalized it with “To Richard, a Real Hero! Stan Lee” and looked at me and smiled as he held my arm and said, “And you are right, I do know heroes when I see them. And you ARE a real Hero. And now you have proof. “

I have always tried to do the right thing, felt that others would have done the same thing in my place.

I still don’t feel like I am a hero. But I now don’t feel as guilty, hurt and disturbed when someone calls me that. I just look at them and say, “You became a hero when you make the right choice, and anyone can be a hero if they just actually do the right thing.”

And your song… it makes me feel so much better.

I hope that you have a Blessed Day, Richard A. Spake

WOW ! What a comment! I believe this is officially the longest AudioJungle comment ever!

Thanks for taking the time to share your story my friend :) That is truly awesome and inspirational!

Thanks for the kind words about the song as well – happy to be the soundtrack to a part of your life :)

Wishing you all the best in the future!

Thank you sir. it really is a good song and it brings me much peace. our world needs more people who are like me. who see jobs needing to be done, and actually do it. and not think that someone else can come and do it. because the truth is that, if you don’t do it… sure as hell the government aint gonna do it.

If somebody is gonna save this world, it’s artist like you! So yes, Tim – don’t need to try anymore – you are a Super Hero!!!

Well done for another great and inspiring song!

Very kind of you to say! Humbled :) Thanks very much.

Hi, this might just be a really weird question coming from another composer/song writer but, here I go:

Would you provide me with the instrumental version of the track if I’d buy the Extended licence of the song, and more importantly (feel free to say no) would you allow me to sing over it (using studio gear, I’m a good singer I swear) and the most controversial bit I’d like to slightly change the lyrics… The idea is to use it on an animation project, I have no intend of selling the song or anything (just to be clear), just allow people to watch it for free on Youtube.com

As I said it’s an weird request and I don’t know how I’d react in your position to be honest, so feel free to say no, it’s a really good song, I mainly like the vocal melody, actually I think it makes the song, regardless of the answer… Keep up the good work!

Hi friend, nice to hear from you!

As the AudioJungle license doesn’t really cover this sort of application I am going to have to say no at this time. I don’t mean to be a drag, there is just to much of a gray area with this sort of request and I don’t want any possible problems in the future.

Thanks so much though, I am really flattered!

Awesome work tim Awesome song by the way.

my friend called me and wanted me to come over and i just played this song when you sing "and when you call me i be there Faster then a lighting flash"

excuse my english

Exceptional music track. All is here: melody, rhythm, musical instruments’ choice and as always this really great voice….

Thank you very much my friend, always nice to see you around!

This really sincere. Impressive work with this one (and also others, of course)

Excellent track! Has added in a collection – good luck!!!

Superhero is great! Can I get this as an instrumental as well if I buy?

Hello, yes that is possible :)

Please see the FAQ however for info about instrumentals: http://audiojungle.net/item/superhero/faq/467167

Hey,

It’s a battlefield 3 funny video (PC videogame) and I want to add 2 of your songs trying to monetize that video with google adsense.

I guess there are not problems at all right? :)

Think you are good to go :)

If possible, it would be good to post a link to the AJ song(s) in the description because people tend to ask a lot!

Thanks for using my music!

Hey,

awesome song! I’m about to buy it for a youtube video! (I’ll give you link when it’s up if you want)

Just wondering, If I pay the 14$ I’m able to use it using google ads for my own commercials purposes, right? :)

Thanks

Hi there,

As long as the song is only used in that video that’s monitized I think you are good :)

Extended comes into play when your selling projects etc.

Thanks!

Hi Superman, I bought 10 songs from you are absolutely awesome!

WOW :)

Guess that makes you “super-spender!” ;)

Thanks so much for the support friend, I truly appreciate it!

Enjoy the music and I wish you the best with your projects. Lots more coming in the New Year!

- Tim
