Tufan Tas was born on December 6, 1975, in istanbul. While in junior high school, he began playing piano and worked in a music shop at age 15. His musical studies continued at the prestigious Istanbul University of State Conservatory until the opportunity arose to work in Raks Marsandiz Studios which is the biggest studio in istanbul, 1993. He worked as a recording technician in Raks Marsandiz Studios from 1993 until 1994 and continued to work as chief engineer for the department of mastering, mixing and recording.When he became music producer at Raks Marsandiz Studios in 1995, Tufan became a major musician in the Turkish music industry.

In 1999, he decided to continue to his musical life and career by working alone to be more efficient and to implement his own projects.Therefore, he established his own studio and had a chance to work with some of the biggest artists in the business.As a music producer, Tufan continued to work on projects that is giving directon to Turkish music industry .

Tufan still keeps on working for all types of music projects as a sound engineer and music producer. In addition, he works on area of advertising jingles, tv series and film music.
