Posido Vega is a bass guitarist and producer originating from Columbia, Maryland.

He is best known as:

• Bass guitarist for celtic fusion trio Harp 46
• Bass guitarist for singer-songwriter Amanda Lee
• Creator of the educational bass blog Mutant Bass

Posido’s work has been featured on many musical projects from various musical genres.

• In 2011, Posido’s funky bass line was used and credited on track #1 (Start the Show) of Wu-Tang’s “Legendary Weapons” album
• In 2006, Posido’s jazz-fusion bass playing and cartoon illustrations were used and credited in Understanding Groove book/CD/DVD for drumset
