Bolt801 aka Jack Roubaty

Academic credits include 3 years at Lausanne Jazz School (piano, drum and sound design) including post-secondary studies of Sound Engineering in Brisbane, Australia. Jack’s professional experience in the music industry spans an impressive twenty-one years, eight of which was spent freelancing in various European countries and Japan, where he is currently assisting independent and major label artists reach their creative potential. Emphasis has been placed on producing the pop / rock genre, in addition to producing songs for mainstream commercials.

Band credits include “Doppleganger”, “Electrobolt”. Official responsibilities include Composer, Sound Engineer, Arranger and Producer: All roles he is confident with and clearly knows how to distinguish, while comfortable performing many simultaneously.

His musical tastes are principled and eclectic, gravitating around the Electronic genre with a rhythm and beats that can be described as powerful, hypnotic and rock steady.  He is not limited by any specific musical genre or era. Perhaps his greatest virtue is his open mind, which is essential in any creative act.
