I think that being known for collaborations with well known bands is a good thing, but the goal of an artist is to express personal feelings, to have a work of your own that shout out loud your concepts. I started this project having in mind way too many things, many styles and combinations of instruments. Some might call it jazz, some might call it ethnic or nu-jazz … I belive it is a combination of those and many more.

Silvia Sorohan (01 Jan. 1982 – 05 Dec. 2005). As a tribute to her, first song, Wake Up! is featuring her on voice.
Bogáti-Bokor Ákos – the guitarist and lieder of the band Yesterdays.
Bad Man Incorporated – one of my favorite musicians from Newgrounds.
Petre Radu Scafaru – an amazing jazz saxophonist, known for collaborating with Burnt Sugar, the Arkestra Chamber.
Makkai István – the saxophone and clarinet player of the band Zakusca, a classical trained musician currently working in State Philharmonic of Targu-Mures.
Denes Jozsef – a very interesting guitar player very much into ethnic fusion.
Felix Mircea Modovan – a very prolific drummer, mostly known from collaborations with Slang, Kumm and Morandi.
Citrina – much more of a visual artist than a musician but, as she says “managed to be in the right place at the right time”. She made the album cover and design of my website.

Mihai Sorohan Bio

Born in 08 November 1975, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In 2008 moved in Lithuania.
Curently living in Vilnius, Lithuania, open for job offers, recordings and collaborative projects.
