My goodness. Where do I start with this? This piece is a big chunk of my heart and childhood. When I was a child, my friend and I used to go to the corner store on Lynch Street and watch the older folks in the neighborhood roll through and cut slow corners. There were people parked everywhere watching the parade of cars. It happened every Sunday. It seemed like the sun shined brighter back then. There were ‘64 Impalas, Lincolns and Cadillacs (to name a few). They all had the gold 200 spoke Dayton rims with the spinners…. hydraulic switches…. scraper blocks…. 15’s in the trunks with the 1,000 watt amps… slammed down low… and, yes, they all were CANDY COATED ! Some with the flake, others just kept it wet glass. If there were a way for me to see this flashback on film, everything would have a nostalgic blur to it and this musical piece would be playing in the background.

This piece would be good for rappers and singers alike that posses a young go-getter attitude. This musical piece would also be great for TV/film in expressing sunny emotions…. or expressing the feeling of “ghetto royalty”. This piece can also be a background song to any transitional scenes in reality shows possessing a young urban flair.
