Cheers bud
Hey, listen to this, Sam did it again!! Great track, i like it, because it’s on one hand very commercial, but also very unique! Great work, dude!
Hey dude, thanks so much for stopping by! I was trying to get that iPad advert sound
I’ve just noticed though that the bass is a bit to loud, what do you think on your very nice monitors
? I was referencing earlier some other tracks and noticed…
Hey dude, for me it’s not really borderless too loud, but it’s true, that it stands out maybe a little but too much, especially because the arrangement is pretty slim (which is beautiful!). So if you take it 2-3 dB (or even up to 5 dB?) back, it may be better. Maybe you should also compress the bass (more, pretty much). It would integrate better. Especially you could lift the overall volume a bit to make the whole track it snappier, after the bass is not so loud, because he takes a lot of energy. Cheers, mate!:)
Thanks for the tips Mat, I have now finished tweaking the bass (adjusted compression and reduced volume) and waiting for review. I have also added a little more limiting to get some extra loudness
