This thoughtful and endearing little piece is from the opening of Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K. 331, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791). Here, Mozart introduces his main theme before embarking on six variations on that theme. I played it “andante grazioso” (graceful walking pace), with eighth note = 116. To me, it invokes images of a couple walking through a glen, or stepping out of a Jane Austen story!
Great for weddings, anniversaries, films, cooperatives or corporations, or any situation that needs graceful simplicity – thank you Mozart!
