“Machines of War” is Auralaxiom’s most ambitious cue yet. A fusion of Hans Zimmer’s classic style and pumping electronic elements, it screams “epic” and is ideal for a video game or film trailer, opening or closing credits, and a variety of other applications.
This cue was made using samples from some of the finest sample libraries available, including the highly coveted Heavyocity Damage, Evolve, LA Scoring Strings, and East West Symphonic Orchestra.
“Machines of War” begins with a dramatic hit, followed by subtle yet intense ostinato strings, chants, and gongs. This crescendos into a highly intense Inception-like section, with sustained brass and synthesizer elements complemented by epic drums. After this, a heart pounding series of repeated hits takes center stage. This transitions into a Tron-like feel, driven by wide, epic arpeggiated synths and percussion hits. The epic ending brings things full circle, ending with a huge sextuplet.
Throughout the piece (even in the more subdued sections) there remains a characteristic intensity. I would encourage you to listen to the whole piece; it includes alot of variety, which translates to alot of usable material for your media production.
And, as always, if you buy this piece, please stop by my page and rate it.
The main file will include two slightly different versions of the piece, one with the epic hit at the beginning and one without. They are as follows:
Machines of War (Main): 3:37 Machines (Short): 3:25
