Old version was way much better, I don’t get it why they returned to almost white background, it really hurts the eye, also on higher resolutions (1920×1080) everything is floating to the left, really disappointed. :/

Arg! Horrible.
Too simple, too google, too boring.
strange… and even ADsBlock for Opera can not hide every ads in YouTube
I hate it, they change their layout too often and all it does is confuse everyone who uses the site. I’d be fine if they changes some minor things every once in a while, but a entirely new layout almost every year is not okay in my opinion.

+1 half my screen is blank. All this “responsive” stuff for mobile, but where’s the desktop love!? Wish the site were liquid instead.
The new design is just fine for Youtube, i wouldn’t even mind if they removed all the styling, as long as they keep the core features functional and usable, for a website like Youtube, simplicity and minimalism is required.
I think Google trying to get close to this flat style, just like MS done with Windows 8. Actually I do like it but the UX is awful the video title became underneath the video which is really confusing, too much negative space which is not a good thing. Anyway, it’s just like any redesign for a daily usable website, you just can’t get used to it very quickly

I think I’d had use that for weeks already…
Anyway, not bad, just … expect something more advance/smart in terms of usability.
Side topic, any mbp users experience noise fan when watching HD video?
