I know it’s not here on activeden but I have a nice idea for a youtube player
If you look here http://www.dutchjazzagency.nl/video-overview-dutchjazz-expedition.html you will see that I made the thumbs custom but what would be really nice to make is an overlay for the player. (In this case black and white). Also I see some flash examples with old movies effects and nice color adjustments.
I don’t know if it is difficult to make but al least it is original 
One problem could be that youtube forbid overlay’s but I think as long as the logo and backlink is printed in the movie and clickable this should not be any problem.
Let me know what you think of this idea or if you can make such an app
